Payment and Refunds Policies
NiaSpace accepts cash, checks and the credit
cards Mastercard and Visa. Debit cards backed by Mastercard and
Visa are also accepted. Bank cards (ATM with PINs) are not accepted.
Statements and credit card receipts indicate payments to "Life
Dance Institute / NiaSpace."
There is a $15 service fee for all returned
checks.
Workshop Refunds
Prepayments for workshops sponsored by NiaSpace are refundable if requested
in writing more than 1 week in advance of the workshop date. (Email and fax
notification is accepted.) On cancellation, $15 of the fee will be retained
to cover processing costs. Refunds are not available after the workshop begins.
Prepayments are fully refundable if the workshop is cancelled.
Refunds for Space Rental
Deposits are required upon contract for rental of space. Because the space
is reserved exclusively for the workshop or event and we turn down all requests
by others for the space at the contracted time, one half (50%) the deposit
is refundable if the event is canceled and the space is released for other
reservations more than 2 weeks in advance. No portion of the deposit will
be refunded if canceled thereafter.

Ongoing Classes and Series
Rentals for classes and series that are on-going are paid by
invoice monthly in advance. A two-week notice prior to invoicing
is required to terminate these agreements.
Refunds for NiaSpace Class Cards
Payments for NiaSpace Class Cards are not refundable. Exceptions can be made
for medical and other reasons specific to individual circumstances on a case-by-case
basis. Contact the Owner or Director.
Multiclass cards (punch cards)
expire 12 weeks after purchase. Monthly unlimited class cards expire as appropriate
to the card (1 month, 3 months, etc.) Students are strongly encouraged not to "overbuy" multiclass
cards. Staff are available to help determine the appropriate card for your schedule.
Gift Certificates and cards
purchased on the NiaSpace Web sites are dated
and begin the 12 week expiration on the date of the first class taken. Refunds
in full of the purchase price are available to the purchaser only, if cancelled
within 3 business days of the date of purchase. Unused or unclaimed cards or
certificates expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
Refunds for Individual Classes
Multiclass cards are not required, and drop-ins are always welcome. Refunds
or other considerations are available if the student elects to leave the
class within 10 minutes of the start of the class.
Payment of Refunds
Refunds are paid in the form of the original purchase, or through other arrangements
with the student, workshop participant or member. If cancelled the same day
and if possible, checks will be returned uncashed and credit card transactions
will be voided. Refunds are made to the original purchaser only.
