Privacy Policy
At Thrive Fitness Studio, we take the privacy of our community
very seriously. Although certain name and contact information
is received and recorded in the regular course of business, we
maintain strict confidentiality of all records. In general, Thrive Studio
does not sell or release any information about our clients without
their express approval.
What Information We Retain
Names and contact information is required in order to conduct
regular business between Thrive and our clients. This includes
email addresses supplied by clients when they first visit the
studio or upon joining our voluntary email list. Members of
the email list may remove themselves at any time by requesting
such removal by email to admin@ThriveFitnessStudio.com, by going to
www.ThriveFitnessStudio.com/list.html and choosing “Unsubscribe” or
by mail to the address noted below.
In addition, clients who are on automatic payment plans must
provide their credit card and and/or bank debit information for
our files. This information is stored securely and is inaccessible
by staff not approved for such access by the owners of Thrive
Fitness Studio or from the Internet, except during the payment process, which
may be transmitted by telephone line or the Internet. If processed
via the Internet such information is passed between secure servers
using SSL encryption technologies.
What We Do With It
Information provided by clients is retained securely offline
and/or within secured database servers otherwise inaccessible
to the Internet. We do not sell or otherwise distribute client
information to anyone, unless required to do so – such
as in response to lawful orders by US or other law enforcement
or judicial authorities.
Credit card and banking information is used only to process payments for services
authorized by the client. It is retained only as long as necessary to process
payments as approved by the client.
Contact information may be used periodically by Thrive Fitness to
communicate news, important account information or changes to
policies, usually by email to the address provided by the client
or occasionally by postal mail. Invoices and statements also
are provided to clients monthly or periodically by email or standard
postal mail.
